Job summary

Hylton-Rodic Law PLLC in Washington, DC is seeking a Marketing & Brand Design Associate to support two organizations by producing brand-forward content across digital, email, and print channels.

You’ll translate complex topics—intellectual property, life sciences, healthcare, and pathology—into clear materials, maintain Squarespace sites, design print collateral, and help move campaigns from idea through publication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in graphic design, visual communication, marketing, advertising, communications, or related field.
• 0–4 years of relevant professional experience, including internships, freelance work, or exceptional student work.
• A portfolio showing strong original visual-design work.
• Strong command of typography, composition, visual hierarchy, layout, and brand consistency.
• Ability to translate complex topics into accessible marketing content.

Responsibilities

• Create original visuals for LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook and other channels.
• Write, edit, design, and publish newsletters, blogs, website content, email campaigns, and other digital communications.
• Turn complex topics in intellectual property, life sciences, healthcare, and pathology into content that audiences can understand.
• Design print collateral such as brochures, flyers, conference materials, and business cards.
• Maintain and develop Squarespace websites, including content, imagery, layout, and landing pages.
• Support SEO and digital-content optimization.
• Build marketing calendars and move campaigns from idea to publication.
• Support brand and sub-brand development, messaging, templates, and branded materials.
• Assist with email campaigns and CRM/marketing data through GoHighLevel.
• Coordinate conferences, webinars, sponsorships, and other events.
