Dow Jones is seeking a Brand Design Intern to join the Marketing team in New York. You will help create new brand identities and support cohesive design across digital, print, and events, working with senior designers on multiple Dow Jones brands.

This hands-on role offers exposure to high-visibility projects, alongside day-to-day tasks that keep brand systems running. You’ll gain real-world experience in a fast-paced environment while learning from mentors and senior leaders.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a design-related degree.
• Solid understanding of digital design principles.
• Proficiency with design tools like Figma, Sketch or Adobe Creative Suite.
• Detail-oriented with ability to deliver polished work.
• Capable of thriving in a fast-paced, collaborative setting.
• Open to feedback and eager to learn.

Responsibilities

• Assist in creating new brand identities and brand guides.
• Support senior designers on multi-brand projects.
• Develop visuals: concepts, mockups, and assets for digital and print.
• Contribute to design systems in Figma with templates and guidelines.
• Ensure consistency across channels and formats.
• Conduct competitive research and translate insights into strategy.
