Job summary

Mercor seeks experienced brand designers to define grading criteria for real-world brand deliverables and to score AI-generated versus human work with detailed written justifications. You will apply evidence-based judgment, ensure reproducibility, and iteratively incorporate feedback from senior reviewers.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in top-brand agencies and fluency in typography, layout, identity systems, and brand messaging.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience in brand, visual, or graphic design.
• Experience at world-class independent brand and design agencies.
• Experience in Creative Director, Brand Designer, Web Designer, or Graphic Designer roles.
• Deep fluency in typography, layout, color, composition and identity systems.
• Exceptional written communication to justify critique of work.
• Detail-oriented and open to peer review and calibration.
• Experience with copywriting and brand messaging is a plus.
• Prior experience with AI training or evaluation is a plus.
