Job summary

Space Coast Credit Union seeks a Design Associate I to craft visually compelling assets that promote brand awareness and engagement. You will collaborate across teams to bring marketing campaigns to life through captivating visuals, supporting both digital and print materials.

Ideal candidates have a two-year design degree (or equivalent), a portfolio spanning print and digital, and proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign. The role offers hybrid work with two in-office days weekly.

Qualifications

• A two-year degree in Graphic Design/Visual Communication or equivalent experience required.
• 1-3 years prior experience in a visual arts or graphic design-related field; portfolio required.
• Proficiency in Adobe Design Tools (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
• Strong portfolio showcasing print and digital materials.
• 4-6 solid design projects including digital ads and illustrations.

Responsibilities

• Execute pre-production design tasks: resizing, asset prep, layout, color conversion/correction (CMYK/PMS).
• Build and maintain design templates and imagery aligned with our brand.
• Ensure deliverables are optimized for channels and devices with brand consistency.
• Create digital assets for digital, print, presentations, marketing, social media, internal comms.
• Edit and optimize images for online campaigns.
• Stay updated on digital design trends and best practices.
• Maintain brand guidelines and ensure consistency across materials.
• Coordinate with Creative Services to meet deadlines and objectives.
• Quality check copy, color, contrast, and brand compliance across materials.
• Maintain DAM file organization and asset libraries.
• Create strong visual clarity in information-heavy materials.
