Job Summary

We’re looking for a hands-on Brand and Creative Director to roll up their sleeves and take ownership of the Versa brand experience across every channel. From evolving our visual identity and messaging to transforming the Versa website into a high-performing sales and marketing engine, this is a roll-up-your-sleeves leadership role that blends strategic thinking with strong execution.

You’ll work directly with content marketing, digital, product, and demand gen teams to create standout brand and campaign experiences—and you’ll be responsible for standing up and scaling a creative services function that can deliver high-quality assets on time and on brand.

Responsibilities

  • Brand Strategy & Execution
    • Own and evolve Versa’s brand identity and storytelling across digital, web, events, video, and print
    • Partner closely with content marketing to bring campaigns to life with smart, high-impact creative
    • Translate abstract cybersecurity and networking concepts into simple, compelling brand narratives
  • Web & Digital Experience
    • Own the evolution of versa-networks.com—optimize structure, UX, messaging, and design to drive engagement and conversions
    • Lead creative direction and hands-on design execution for landing pages, digital campaigns, and content hubs
    • Partner with digital marketing and content teams to make the website a true sales and marketing tool
  • Creative Services
    • Build and manage an agile creative services process to support internal stakeholders across the executive team, marketing and sales
    • Deliver assets ranging from pitch decks, social graphics, datasheets, product videos, and campaign collateral
    • Balance speed and polish—deliver high-quality work efficiently across multiple projects
  • Team & Vendor Management
    • Manage and mentor a small in-house design team and freelancers
    • Work with select agency partners—but stay hands-on in concepting and execution
    • Own timelines, feedback loops, and QA processes to keep creative moving fast and smart
Qualifications

  • 8–10+ years in brand, creative, or design leadership roles—preferably in high-growth B2B tech
  • A builder mindset: you’ve launched and scaled brand systems, stood up creative functions, and made websites better
  • Strong hands-on creative skills—design, layout, and visual storytelling across web and digital formats
  • Experience with website CMS tools, conversion-focused design, and collaborative content workflows
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, and other design and project tools
  • Comfortable presenting to executives and collaborating across functions (content, product marketing, digital, demand gen)
  • Passion for making the complex simple—and the technical compelling

The pay range for this position at commencement of employment in California, Washington, or New York City is expected in the range of $170,000 to $230,000. A candidate’s specific pay within this range will depend on a variety of factors, including job-related skills, training, location, experience, relevant education, certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
