Sunbit, Inc. is seeking a Director of Copywriting & Editorial to lead the organization's written voice across consumer and merchant touchpoints. This senior role collaborates closely with Brand Creative to ensure messaging aligns with visual identity and compliance in fintech communications.

The candidate will manage the full editorial function, shape tone of voice, and drive editorial standards as Sunbit scales nationally, with a hybrid office presence in Los Angeles, CA.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of copywriting experience, with senior/lead role experience.
• Strong ability to develop messaging hierarchies and brand voice guidelines.
• Experience writing for regulated industries (fintech/financial services a plus).

Responsabilités

• Lead messaging strategy, brand voice, and tone guidelines for consumer and merchant audiences.
• Write and direct copy for integrated marketing campaigns across paid media, digital, email, CRM and social.
• Develop copy for investor decks, board presentations, and executive communications.
• Hire, mentor, and manage copywriting talent (in-house and freelance).
• Build and maintain editorial processes, content calendars, and copy review workflows.
