Job summary

Comal ISD seeks a Communications Coordinator to lead design and content creation that advances the district's brand and storytelling across print, digital, and social platforms. The role ensures consistency with brand standards and aligns with district priorities.

You will develop branded templates, support campaigns and events, and craft high-quality visuals and copy. Collaboration with the Communications team is essential to engage students, families, and staff effectively.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in graphic design, communications, marketing, journalism, digital media, or related field.
• Minimum two years of professional graphic design or content creation experience.
• Portfolio demonstrating range across print, digital, and social platforms.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and typography.
• Experience designing for print, digital, social, and large-format applications.

Responsibilities

• Design high-quality graphics for campaigns, publications, events, and digital platforms.
• Uphold and apply district brand standards across all design work.
• Develop branded templates and assets for consistent communications.
• Prepare files for print and digital production; coordinate with vendors.
• Write, edit, and produce content highlighting student and staff achievements.
• Support social media content creation and associated copy.
• Collaborate with Communications and Multimedia teams to ensure cohesive storytelling.
