Job Description

The CAA Brand Consulting - Sr. Account Manager - Sports Talent will play a key role managing one of our largest clients, a technology services company. The role involves co-leading all sports talent initiatives, managing talent partnerships, and aligning talent strategy with broader sports and entertainment strategies. The candidate will interface with clients, work cross-functionally with athlete representation, internal teams, vendors, and agencies, and lead client relationships.

Responsibilities
  1. Lead sports talent and influencer partnerships
  2. Manage talent relationships and partnerships
  3. Coordinate with Entertainment Talent counterparts for program consistency
  4. Serve as main client contact for talent partnership projects
  5. Develop talent strategies based on client briefs
  6. Manage multiple projects and budgets independently
  7. Develop concepts and facilitate creative approval processes
  8. Lead client calls and presentations
  9. Manage budgets and track expenses
  10. Oversee talent activation plans and project organization
  11. Negotiate and manage talent deals
  12. Oversee creative development of marketing materials
  13. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet goals
  14. Communicate effectively in writing and verbally
  15. Create presentations for internal and external meetings
  16. Track activation budgets and report on performance
  17. Build relationships to promote new opportunities
  18. Support and manage internal team members
Qualifications
  • BA or BS preferred or equivalent experience
  • 5-7+ years relevant experience
  • Willingness to travel and attend onsite events
  • Strong industry connections, especially in sports and athlete representation
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Critical thinking and attention to detail
  • Project and budget management skills
  • Experience managing junior staff
  • Understanding of industry trends
Preferred Skills
  • Experience at a sports agency, league, or brand in talent programming
  • Knowledge of baseball or collegiate sports talent preferred
Location & Compensation

This role offers a flexible schedule with three days onsite in Los Angeles or New York. The salary range is $103,000 - $125,000 annually, plus benefits and discretionary bonus, based on experience and location.
