Job summary

Grassroots Carbon in the United States is seeking a driven Manager or Director, Brand Reach & Communications to own our narrative and dramatically expand our reach with regulators, carbon registries, corporate buyers, and future investors by promoting our story to the broader public through media, podcasts, Substack and social channels.

You will build a sustained multi-channel communications strategy across earned media, owned content and social, steward the Grassroots Carbon narrative, and

Qualifications

• Strong writing and storytelling across earned and owned media.
• Proven ability to generate national media momentum.
• Background in journalism, climate/sustainability, or mission-driven startups preferred.
• Familiarity with corporate sustainability, policy, or investment audiences is a plus.
• Self-mstart and entrepreneurial mindset; able to operate with limited team.

Responsibilities

• Own a multi-channel communications strategy with a clear roadmap across earned media, owned content, and social.
• Steward Grassroots Carbon’s narrative as a leader in carbon removal and soil science.
• Surface stories from science, sales, and rancher teams to fuel the pipeline.
• Support investor relations and regulatory engagement with consistent messaging.
