Position Overview: As a Retail Brand Ambassador, you will serve as the face of Expo Home Improvement at retail locations, events, and promotional venues. Your primary responsibility will be to engage with prospective customers, share information about our products and services, and generate qualified leads for our sales team. This role is ideal for outgoing, energetic individuals who enjoy interacting with people and thrive in a results-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Customer Engagement:
    • Proactively approach customers at designated retail locations or events to initiate conversations about Expo Home Improvement services.
    • Represent the company professionally and enthusiastically to create a positive first impression.
  2. Lead Generation:
    • Provide detailed information about our products and services, answering initial inquiries and addressing potential customer concerns.
    • Collect and accurately document customer information to ensure a seamless follow-up by the sales team.
  3. Brand Representation:
    • Maintain a professional appearance and ensure that all materials and displays align with company branding standards.
    • Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of the company’s offerings and promotions to effectively communicate value to customers.
  4. Team Collaboration:
    • Coordinate with the sales and marketing teams to optimize lead generation efforts.
    • Provide feedback on customer interactions to help improve outreach strategies and marketing materials.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; some college or relevant experience is preferred.
  • Prior experience in customer service, retail, or sales is a plus but not required.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong ability to engage and build rapport with diverse audiences.
  • Self-motivated, energetic, and goal-oriented with a positive attitude.
  • Must have reliable transportation to travel between retail locations or events as needed.
  • Availability to work flexible schedules, including weekends and evenings.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand and remain active for up to 8 hours a day.
  • Comfortable lifting and carrying promotional materials or equipment weighing up to 25 pounds.

Working Conditions:

  • This is an in-person role based at various retail locations, events, and venues.
  • Exposure to varying indoor and outdoor conditions depending on the location of assignments.
