Responsibilities

Prime Shrimp is a young, rapidly growing division of Laitram that leverages our deep knowledge of food manufacturing and the global seafood industry to create an innovative new line of retail frozen shrimp products. Our state-of-the-art processing facility and headquarters is in the greater New Orleans area.

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dynamic Brand Ambassador to represent Prime Shrimp. As a Brand Ambassador, you will be a face of our brand, promoting our products and engaging with customers in grocery stores and at community events. Your goal will be to increase brand awareness and drive sales.

Responsibilities

• Positively represent our brand and attract customers to sample shrimp at different retail locations and events (host the demos, prep the samples, set up & take down demo station).
• Discuss, educate and answer any questions about our ingredients, story, processes and what sets us apart from other products
• Provide feedback to the marketing and product development teams based on customer interactions
• Work with marketing lead to support all marketing and sales initiatives
• Must be willing to follow all safety and sanitary guidelines as posted/instructed
• Schedule and complete 8-10 demos a month across your territory
• Weekly schedule for this position may vary but will consistently fall within the structure of a part-time role.
  
  

Requirements

• Pursuing/completed B.S./B.A. (Business, marketing, or similar) or 1+ years business to customer practical sales experience.
• Must have valid driver’s license and a reliable source of transportation
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Must be 18+ years of age
• Must be a high energy and outgoing individual with a passion for food
• Must be able to lift 30 lbs
