As an HSP Brand Activator, you are the face of some of the most exciting adult beverage brands in the country. You create the consumer experience, tell the brand story, influence purchase decisions, and capture the real-time information our clients use to understand what is happening at the shelf.
This is a part-time W-2 role for people who value flexibility and take their commitments seriously. You choose work that fits your availability. Once you commit to an event, we count on you to show up prepared, represent the brand professionally, and deliver a great experience.

POSTION DETAILS

- Work Location On-site retail and grocery locations
- Typical Schedule Primarily Wednesday – Sunday and national holidays based on available tasting events
BASIC REQUIREMENTS
- The ability and confidence to engage consumers in a public retail environment.
- Reliable transportation and the ability to travel to assigned event locations.
- Availability for evening and weekend assignments.
- Comfort using mobile apps and technology for scheduling, communication, and reporting.
- Ability to complete required event reporting accurately and on time.
- Required alcohol service certification for your state.
- Ability to meet the physical requirements of the position, including prolonged standing and lifting event materials as required.
Previous experience in sales, hospitality, retail, beverage, promotional marketing, or other customer-facing roles can be helpful, but we care just as much about reliability, energy, curiosity, and your ability to connect with people.

This is a part-time, consumer-facing role that combines brand storytelling, shopper engagement, and real-time data capture. Brand Activators are the face of HSP’s clients in the store—delivering memorable tasting experiences and driving purchase intent through energy, product knowledge, and professionalism.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
Shopper Engagement & Brand Storytelling
- Connect with shoppers about their adult beverage interests in a friendly, approachable way.
- Tell brand stories about the adult beverage products you represent at the grocery store.
- Engage consumers with energy and professionalism, delivering a positive and memorable brand experience.
- Encourage purchase intent through confident, knowledgeable recommendations.
Event Execution & Reliability
- Arrive on time and execute assigned shifts, maintaining a consistent and reliable presence at your station.
- Monitor inventory levels and proactively reorder supplies through the HSP Shopify store as needed.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing sampling station that reflects brand standards.
Data Capture & Reporting
- Capture and log accurate sampling data using the HSP App and Portal.
- Submit event recaps the same day as each shift to ensure timely client reporting.
- Use mobile tools and apps to track and report event performance in real time.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Valid alcohol service certification as required by state law (e.g. TABC).
- Ability to confidently engage with consumers and communicate effectively in public settings.
- Reliable transportation and ability to travel to assigned event locations.
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and scheduled shifts as needed.
- Basic comfort with technology (e.g., mobile apps) for data logging, reporting and printing.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Familiarity with beverage/alcohol brands and sampling events.
