Torrco is seeking a hands‑on Warehouse/Branch Support associate to help our Pittsfield and North Adams teams. You will split time between warehouse operations and local deliveries, ensuring accurate picking, packing, and stock control for customer orders.

The role emphasizes safety, reliability, and strong customer service as you assist both branches and sales teams, with possible early starts and overtime depending on branch needs.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in warehouse, delivery, or similar hands‑on role preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid driver’s license and a safe driving record.
• Valid DOT Medical Card or ability to complete a DOT physical.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and stock incoming product from Torrco’s distribution center and vendors.
• Pick, pack, and stage customer orders accurately and efficiently.
• Keep warehouse and inventory areas clean, organized, and properly labeled.
• Assist with inventory counts and cycle counting.
• Safely operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment.
• Support branch and sales team needs throughout the day.

This is a hands‑on, customer‑focused role supporting Torrco’s Pittsfield and North Adams branches. You’ll split your time between warehouse operations and local deliveries, helping ensure our customers and sales teams have the products they need, when they need them.

What You’ll Do:

Warehouse & Branch Support

• Receive, inspect, and stock incoming product from Torrco’s distribution center and vendors.
• Pick, pack, and stage customer orders accurately and efficiently.
• Keep warehouse and inventory areas clean, organized, and properly labeled.
• Assist with inventory counts and cycle counting.
• Safely operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment.
• Support branch and sales team needs throughout the day.

Local Deliveries

• Load, secure, and deliver customer orders using company box trucks and pickup trucks.
• Verify orders for accuracy before and during delivery.
• Provide friendly, professional service to customers.
• Obtain signatures or proof of delivery as required.
• Complete daily vehicle inspections and promptly report vehicle or delivery issues.

Physical demands:

Warehouse and driving environments, with exposure to varying weather conditions during deliveries.

May require early morning starts, overtime, or occasional Saturday work depending on branch operations.
