Job summary

HVAC Distributors Inc in Tonawanda, NY is seeking a Warehouse/Delivery associate to pull, scan, package, stage, and load customer orders, while unloading and stocking inventory transfers and delivering products daily to customer locations.

Qualified candidates have a High School Diploma or equivalent, at least 2 years warehousing experience, 1 year of delivery, and a valid driver’s license with a good driving record. Expect a fast-paced environment with attention to inventory control and safety.

Responsibilities

• Pull, scan, package, stage, and load customer orders into vehicles.
• Unload, scan, and store inventory transfers and load outgoing transfers.
• Unload, scan, and put away vendor-delivered purchase orders daily.
• Deliver products to customer locations as directed by the Branch Manager.
• Rotate floor stock and ensure FIFO usage for time-sensitive items.
• Maintain clean and orderly warehouse aisles and bin locations.
• Perform cycle counts and inventories as directed by the Branch Manager.

Salary Range: $22.50 - $23.50 Hourly

Warehouse/Delivery

• Ensures all branch customer orders are pulled, scanned, packaged, staged, and/or loaded into customer vehicle accurately and undamaged.
• Unloads, scans, and puts away all inventory transfers delivered by the designated transfer truck daily; loads outgoing transfers.
• Unloads, scans, and puts away all vendor delivered purchase orders daily.
• Delivers product to customer locations daily as directed by the Branch Manager.
• Rotates floor stock to ensure that time or date sensitive items are used on First In First Out basis.
• Ensures that all warehouse aisles and bin locations are maintained in a clean and orderly manner.
• Performs cycle counts and inventories as directed by the Branch Manager.
