Elliott Electric Supply is seeking a Telecommunications Coordinator to manage branch network infrastructure, coordinate ISP services, and support the Network Administration team with troubleshooting and provisioning. The role emphasizes organization, clear communication, and attention to detail across multiple branches.

Ideal candidates will handle scheduling, documentation, and equipment provisioning while ensuring timely installations and reliable connectivity.

Qualifications

• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and priorities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with vendors and staff.
• Experience with Excel for tracking projects and documentation.
• Ability to learn new technologies quickly and follow procedures.
• Attention to detail and proactive documentation.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently.
• Familiarity with fiber, cable, DSL, Ethernet circuits and internet delivery is a plus.
• Industry certifications such as Network+ or A+ preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the ordering and installation of internet and VoIP services for new branch locations.
• Coordinate installation schedules with branch managers, construction teams, and service providers.
• Verify telecommunications services are installed, tested, and operational before branch openings.
• Ensure site readiness prior to carrier installations.
• Maintain records for telecommunications equipment, services, and accounts.
• Coordinate with Accounts Payable to establish new telecommunications accounts.
• Open, monitor, and manage support tickets for internet and VoIP outages.
• Evaluate ISP performance and coordinate improvements when needed.
• Coordinate upgrades and migrations from legacy services.
• Assist with configuring standard IT equipment, including VoIP phones and wireless access points.
• Perform other network operations and administrative duties as assigned.
