Responsibilities

• Provides electrical, building and technology support for multiple locations.
• Maintains facilities to ensure a safe, clean, and functional environment.
• Receives, manages, and processes work orders; ensures timely resolution.
• Acts as liaison between employees and contractors for specialized problems.
• Drafts and implements preventive maintenance schedules for buildings and equipment.
• Sets up equipment for employee use and ensures proper installation of cables, OS, or software.
• Trains users in proper use of hardware or software and coordinates with vendors for major issues.
• Inspects equipment and prepares for delivery or deployment to users.

This position may be based out of any of our following Northeast locations listed below:

New York: Depew, Liverpool, and Saratoga Springs.

Massachusetts: Chicopee.

Vermont: Colchester.

Summary

In this position, you will be a key member of our IT & Facilities team, where primary responsibilities are to provide electrical, building and technology support to a rapidly growing company! Duties include electrical, data integration, maintenance and IT work. Primary duties include:

• Ensures assigned equipment is in proper working order and available for use.
• Maintains physical space, ensuring a safe, clean, and functional environment.
• Receives, manages, and processes work order requests; ensures problems are resolved quickly.
• Acts as liaison between employees and any outside contractors needed to resolve specialized problems.
• Drafts and implements preventive maintenance schedules for buildings and equipment.
• Ensures safety standards are followed throughout facility.
• Maintains inventory of supplies; reorders as needed
• Read technical manuals, confer with users, or conduct computer diagnostics to investigate and resolve problems or to provide technical assistance and support.
• Set up equipment for employee use, performing or ensuring proper installation of cables, operating systems, or appropriate software.
• Train users in the proper use of hardware or software.
• Refer major hardware or software problems or defective products to vendors or technicians for service.
• Install and perform minor repairs to hardware, software, or peripheral equipment, following design or installation specifications.
• Prepare evaluations of software or hardware and recommend improvements or upgrades.
• Confer with staff, users, and management to establish requirements for new systems or modifications.
• Inspect equipment and read order sheets to prepare for delivery to users.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

** The pay range for this role is $24.00 to $28.00 per hour. Actual compensation will be based on qualifications and other factors determined by law. **
