Responsibilities

• Provide electrical, building and technology support to a rapidly growing company.
• Ensure assigned equipment is in proper working order and available for use.
• Receive, manage, and process work order requests; resolve problems quickly.
• Act as liaison between employees and outside contractors for specialized problems.
• Draft and implement preventive maintenance schedules for buildings and equipment.
• Maintain safety standards throughout the facility.
• Maintain inventory of supplies and reorders as needed.
• Read manuals and diagnose problems to provide technical assistance.
• Set up equipment for employee use and ensure proper installation of cables, OS, or software.
• Train users in hardware or software usage.
• Refer major hardware or software problems to vendors or technicians for service.
• Install and perform minor repairs to hardware, software, or peripherals.
• Prepare evaluations of software or hardware and propose improvements.
• Confer with staff to establish requirements for new systems or modifications.
• Inspect equipment and read order sheets to prepare for delivery.

Summary

In this position, you will be a key member of our IT & Facilities team, where primary responsibilities are to provide electrical, building and technology support to a rapidly growing company! Duties include electrical, data integration, maintenance and IT work. Primary duties include:

• Ensures assigned equipment is in proper working order and available for use.
• Maintains physical space, ensuring a safe, clean, and functional environment.
• Receives, manages, and processes work order requests; ensures problems are resolved quickly.
• Acts as liaison between employees and any outside contractors needed to resolve specialized problems.
• Drafts and implements preventive maintenance schedules for buildings and equipment.
• Ensures safety standards are followed throughout facility.
• Maintains inventory of supplies; reorders as needed
• Read technical manuals, confer with users, or conduct computer diagnostics to investigate and resolve problems or to provide technical assistance and support.
• Set up equipment for employee use, performing or ensuring proper installation of cables, operating systems, or appropriate software.
• Train users in the proper use of hardware or software.
• Refer major hardware or software problems or defective products to vendors or technicians for service.
• Install and perform minor repairs to hardware, software, or peripheral equipment, following design or installation specifications.
• Prepare evaluations of software or hardware and recommend improvements or upgrades.
• Confer with staff, users, and management to establish requirements for new systems or modifications.
• Inspect equipment and read order sheets to prepare for delivery to users.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
