Job summary

Industrial Supply is seeking a hands-on Branch Supervisor to lead the Arizona branch operations, including warehouse, inventory, order fulfillment, deliveries, and customer service. You will supervise and coach branch staff, set performance expectations, and collaborate with inside/outside sales to meet customer needs.

This role requires strong leadership, organization, and problem-solving skills, with experience in warehouse or distribution environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day branch operations, including warehouse activities, inventory, order fulfillment, deliveries, and customer service.
• Supervise, coach, and support branch employees while setting clear expectations for performance, safety, accuracy, and customer service.
• Coordinate with inside and outside sales teams to ensure customer needs are met while maintaining proper order and inventory procedures.
• Manage staffing needs, employee schedules and time records, performance reviews, and performance issues as needed.
• Oversee receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and delivery processes to ensure orders are completed accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure inventory transactions are entered correctly into company systems.
• Help maintain appropriate inventory levels and resolve inventory discrepancies.
• Provide professional, responsive service to customers at the branch counter and help resolve customer issues.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe branch, including warehouse areas, equipment, and company vehicles.
• Ensure company procedures and safety expectations are consistently followed.
• Step into branch operations when needed, including warehouse, delivery, customer service, and VMI responsibilities.
• Look for opportunities to improve branch productivity, organization, accuracy, and customer service.

Job Summary

Industrial Supply is looking for a hands-on Branch Supervisor to lead the day-to-day operations of our Arizona branch. This position is responsible for keeping the branch running safely, accurately, and efficiently while leading the employees who make that happen. You'll oversee warehouse operations, inventory, order fulfillment, deliveries, customer service, and employee performance while working closely with our sales teams to take care of customers. What We’re Looking For

• Experience working in a warehouse, distribution, branch, store, or similar operational environment.
• Demonstrated ability to lead people, set expectations, and hold a team accountable.
• Strong organizational and problem‑solving skills.
• Understanding of inventory, receiving, order fulfillment, and warehouse processes.
• Comfortable using computers and inventory or order‑management systems.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Willingness to be a hands‑on leader and assist in different areas of the branch when needed.
• Ability to safely and legally operate a delivery vehicle when necessary.

Preferred Qualifications

• 2+ years of supervisory or management experience in a warehouse, distribution, branch, or store environment.
• Experience with inventory management and order‑processing systems.
• Experience in industrial distribution or a related industry.
• Familiarity with Industrial Supply products, systems, customers, or processes.
• Post‑secondary education or equivalent relevant experience.

Physical Requirements

This is an active, hands‑on leadership position. The role may require standing, bending, twisting, lifting, and moving throughout an 8‑hour shift with appropriate breaks. Employees must be able to lift and carry products weighing up to 50 lbs., operate a computer and keyboard, read and enter information accurately, and safely load and unload customer orders with or without assistance. The position also requires the ability to safely and legally operate a company delivery vehicle when business needs require.
