Job summary

United Bank in Hyattsville, MD is seeking a Sales Associate Supervisor to lead the Sales Associate staff, ensuring tasks are completed on time and goals are met. You will help schedule staff, coach teams to refer and sell bank products, and drive service excellence across the branch.

The role requires supervisory experience, strong sales and customer service focus, and ability to work flexible hours. Base pay is disclosed and advancement opportunities exist within a supportive banking

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Minimum of one (1) year of professional working experience, preferably in a Banking environment.
• Prior supervisory experience is highly desired with demonstrated ability to lead staff members.
• Ability to effectively demonstrate a sales-oriented professional demeanor.
• Excellent communication skills; Verbal and written communications skills in Spanish or additional language a plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Products.
• Ability to travel to other branch locations to ensure proper daily staffing.
• Flexibility on work schedule as business needs arise.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to meeting monthly branch and/or individual scorecard goals by monitoring performance and following action plans.
• Prepare and review monthly Sales Associate scorecards with Branch Manager.
• Operate with accuracy and efficiency with core banking systems and processing transactions with a sales associate cash drawer.
• Ensure delivery of excellent customer service throughout the Bank by adhering to sales and service standards.
• Maintain knowledge of bank products to refer and sell them to customers and refer business to other areas within the Bank.
• Oversee scheduling of Sales Associate staff and communicate operational procedures; ensure compliance with Bank policies.
• Maintain vault cash and manage currency with sales associates to stay within drawer limits.
• Accept deposits, verify cash deposits, endorsements and comply with Regulation CC.
• Handle night depository, ATM, and mail deposits if applicable.
• Prepare currency transaction reports and logs per Bank Secrecy Act, including KYC, OFAC, and Information Security policies.
• Order and ship currency within branch cash limits.
• Prepare monthly branch transaction reports and assist with audits.
• Maintain security and inventory logs and complete monetary logs and CTRs.
• May be required to open/close the Branch outside normal hours as needed.
