Job summary

CentiMark Corporation in Plainview, NY, is hiring a Branch Safety Inspector for a full-time role. You will oversee safety across crews, perform daily safety inspections, and contribute to safety program implementation.

The ideal candidate has roofing/construction experience, OSHA knowledge, strong communication skills, and proven leadership and organizational abilities. Overnight travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of roofing procedures and safety.
• Familiar with OSHA regulations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Analytical, leadership, interpersonal and time-management skills.
• Strong follow-up abilities.
• 5 years of roofing/construction experience.
• Valid state driver’s license.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily safety inspections on all crews to check compliance.
• Assist in setting up fall protection, pre-job inspections and job planning meetings.
• Inspect equipment and machinery on assigned new construction sites.
• Review inspections with crews and communicate safety messages.
• Report inspection results weekly to the Operations Manager, highlighting concerns such as fall protection violations.
• Assist in conducting monthly and quarterly safety training meetings.
