Job summary

Performance Contracting Group is seeking a Branch Safety Supervisor in Knoxville, TN. You will implement and oversee safety programs, coordinate with clients, and drive incident investigations to protect workers and meet project goals.

The role requires 3+ years in construction safety, OSHA 500, and strong communication. A degree in Safety or Construction Management is preferred, with MS Office proficiency and a customer-focused mindset.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in construction safety
• Degree in Occupational Health and Safety or Construction Management or related field
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel/Word)
• Excellent verbal and written communication
• Team player with strong customer service
• Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Knowledge of OSHA, MSHA and safety standards
• OSHA 500 certification and CHST/CSP preferred

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing safety plans and procedures
• Submit safety reports and documentation on time
• Provide safety technical support to the branch
• Lead investigations of injuries and near-misses
• Enforce corrective actions to prevent recurrence
• Conduct daily site inspections and audits
• Coordinate with client on safety management
• Identify and mitigate hazards
• Coach workers to follow safety plans
• Develop annual safety goals
• Approve safety equipment and PPE
