Job summary

Qualifications

• Must have at least 3 years' experience working in construction safety.
• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Construction Management, or related discipline.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite including Excel and Word.
• Ability to read and interpret specifications and drawings.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Ability to learn new skills and apply them on the job.
• Strong customer service skills and ability to build client relationships.
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills under deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Assist with implementing and administering safety plans and procedures.
• Provide safety technical expertise, training, and resources to the branch and workers.
• Identify, evaluate, and mitigate safety hazards.
• Conduct job site inspections and audits for compliance.
• Promote safe work practices through coaching and engagement.
• Investigate work-related injuries and near-miss incidents, enforcing corrective actions.
• Review safety incidents and investigation reports for accuracy.
• Ensure timely submission of safety reports and documentation to PCG and clients.
• Act as liaison between the company and clients regarding site safety management.
• Establish branch and project safety goals and ensure regulatory adherence.
• Evaluate and approve safety equipment and PPE.
