Job summary

Performance Contracting in Boise, ID is seeking a Branch Safety Engineer to support PCG and client safety programs at the Boise 548 operations. You will lead accident prevention efforts, inspect sites, enforce safe work practices, and coordinate with clients on safety management.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Occupational Health and Safety and at least 3 years in construction safety, with strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and Excel/Word. Travel is minimal.

Qualifications

• Must have a Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety or related field.
• At least 3 years' experience in construction safety.
• Proficient with MS Office (Excel/Word) and reading specs/drawings.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; team-oriented.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Strong customer service and client relationship skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with implementing safety plans and procedures for PCG and clients.
• Provide safety training and resources to branch and workers.
• Identify hazards and implement mitigation strategies.
• Conduct site inspections and audits for compliance.
• Promote safe work practices and coach staff.
• Investigate injuries/near-misses and enforce corrective actions.
• Review incidents and ensure accurate reporting and documentation.
• Act as liaison between company and clients on site safety.
• Establish safety goals and ensure regulatory adherence.
• Evaluate and approve safety equipment and PPE.
