Job summary

Patterson Companies in Richmond, VA is seeking a Branch Operations Manager to partner with the General Manager to develop strategy and achieve branch objectives. You will direct and supervise all branch functions including Service, Equipment, Customer Service, Accounting and Inventory to implement organizational best practices.

You will manage budgets, drive profitability, oversee staffing and performance, improve inventory processes, and foster a customer‑oriented culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• General computer proficiency including knowledge of MS Office.
• Must maintain a valid driver’s license and good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Directs and supervises all Branch operational functions including Service Department, Equipment Department, Customer Service, Accounting and Inventory.
• Manage branch profit and loss performance, develop budgets and allocate financial resources to achieve business goals; manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Create a customer service culture within the branch and resolve customer problems or concerns; manage Service Department and assess customer satisfaction.
• Manage inventory processes and inventory turns; resolve variances; participate in excess inventory liquidation; partner with Operations Manager to enhance service culture.
• Oversee staffing: hiring, promotion decisions, performance management, coaching and development of direct reports; ensure policy compliance and staff morale.
