As a Branch Operations Lead Trainee in Branch Banking, you will collaborate with the Branch Manager, staff, and colleagues to ensure customer transactions are accurate, efficient, and compliant with policies, procedures, and regulations. You will focus on delivering exceptional customer service, working with the Branch Manager to set the tone in the branch.

Your typical day involves assisting customers, performing transactions, and identifying ways to simplify their banking experience through self-service options. You will also review branch operations and communicate updates to staff to ensure compliance and control standards are met.

Job Responsibilities
  • Set the tone of the branch environment to provide an exceptional customer experience and foster a positive culture
  • Greet clients, perform transactions, manage lobby traffic, and coordinate client meetings
  • Manage branch operations, including cash devices, in accordance with policies
  • Introduce customers to team members who can assist with financial needs
  • Promote self-service options for account access 24/7
  • Support the Branch Manager with operations, loss control, compliance, and audits
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
  • Detail-oriented, organized, capable of multi-tasking, and committed to following policies and regulations
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
  • Ability to connect with and educate customers, referring to colleagues as needed
  • Strong desire to influence and educate team and customers about technology
  • Leadership skills and proficiency in operations and transaction accuracy
  • Some college, military experience, or 2+ years of branch banking experience
Training Requirement
  • Successful completion of the Branch Operations Lead training program is required to be active in the role
