Nucor Rebar Fabrication Southwest is seeking a Branch Manager to lead safety-focused operations and strategic branch performance in Albuquerque, NM. You will oversee detailing, placing, and project teams while coordinating with Commercial and Finance teams to execute the business plan.

Applicants should have a relevant degree or substantial steel-industry leadership experience, with strong communication, change-management and cost-control skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business or engineering required or equivalent experience.
• OSHA 30 certification preferred.
• Five years of reinforcing steel detailing, fabrication, placing or related steel industry experience desired.

Responsibilities

• Create a Safety First culture at the Branch.
• Lead operations, detailing, placing and project management teams.
• Drive organizational change to improve processes and efficiency.
• Read and apply complex regulations related to safety, environment, purchasing, and employee relations.
• Develop and mentor people to align with company objectives.
• Monitor market dynamics and manage inventories and production to support goals.
