Are you a dynamic and inspirational leader with a passion for driving growth and community involvement? Royal Credit Union is seeking a strategic Branch Manager II to lead our team, enhance member satisfaction, and foster an environment of collaboration, inclusion, and accountability.

As a Branch Manager II, you will be responsible for overseeing the success and profitability of our branch. This role requires a balance of operational oversight, business development, and community engagement. You will lead by example, motivate your team, and ensure high levels of engagement and performance.

Our Commitment To You

  • Compensation: $72,966.00 - $83,907.00 per year (candidates with significant related experience may be higher)

What You’ll Do

  • Leadership and Team Development: You will recruit, hire, train, and develop high-impact talent, set clear performance expectations, and provide ongoing coaching and feedback. You will lead by example to motivate your team and foster an environment of collaboration, innovation and trust.
  • Market Growth and Portfolio Management: You will implement business development strategies to attract and retain members, manager and grow deposit and loan portfolios, and drive the overall member experience to achieve industry-leading Net Promoter Scores.
  • Financial and Performance Management: You will utilize data and financial reports to assess branch performance, identify growth opportunities and make decisions to drive profitability. You will monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), manage budgets and stay current on industry trends..
  • Community Engagement: You will actively represent the branch and Royal within the community by participating in volunteer opportunities, local events, and outreach activities. You will build and maintain strong internal and external networks to ensure consistent membership.
  • Operational Excellence and Compliance: You will oversee daily branch operations, ensuring adherence to Royal’s policies, and maintain compliance with all banking regulations and industry standards. You will manage branch security and ensure a safe environment for both team members and members.
  • Digital Solutions: You will foster a culture of digital fluency, train team members and members on digital banking solutions and drive digital adoption to enhance member experience and streamline branch operations.

Additionally, you will be involved in change management, risk management, financial management, and ensuring the branch’s alignment with Royal’s core purpose, values and organizational culture.

What’s Required For This Position

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Four (4) years of experience working in financial services that includes two (2) years of experience working with new accounts, loans and loan processing, or equivalent loan related experience.
  • Two (2) years of Supervisory experience
  • Three (3) years of Leadership experience
  • Demonstrate a strong sense of customer service, strong written and verbal communication skills, and strong interviewing and listening skills. Able to explain and present to Members.
  • Exhibit good organizational skills, excellent time management, strong listening skills, and the ability to produce accurate and high-quality materials, data entry, and transactions.
  • Readily learns new technologies, uses Royal’s digital solutions on different technology devices (e.g., tablets, smartphones, PCs, etc.), and a basic understanding of all Microsoft Office products.
  • Work productively in a team environment with high levels of interruption, perform routine and repetitive tasks, and pay meticulous attention to detail.

We’d Love To See

  • An Associate Degree in Finance, Business Administration or equivalent work experience.
  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Business Administration or equivalent work experience.

Work Schedule

  • This is a full-time exempt level position. Occasional evening and weekend hours are required. Hours of the office vary between 7:45am – 5:45pm Monday through Friday and 8:15am – 12:15pm on Saturday.

Training

  • Prior to starting a normal work schedule, new Royal team members must attend Foundation Training at our Corporate Center in Eau Claire, WI from 9:00am - 4:30pm on Monday and Tuesday during their first week of employment. Out of town learners will be reimbursed costs related to travel and lodging.
    • Foundation Training covers fundamental information about Royal’s culture and core values which sets the stage for team members to be successful within our organization.
