Job summary

Wintrust Financial Corporation in Grand Rapids, MI, is seeking a Branch Manager to lead daily branch operations, hire and train staff, schedule, and manage facilities while developing existing and new customer relationships.

The role works with other lines of business to maximize growth and profitability, oversee sales performance, coach staff, and address customer issues. Personal Banker duties may be performed as needed, with community outreach to strengthen the bank's local presence.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• College degree or related banking experience preferred.
• Retail banking and managerial experience required.
• Business development experience and small business customer experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee branch operations, including hiring, training, scheduling, and facility management.
• Manage the sales performance of the banking center staff by coaching sessions and staff development.
• Resolve escalated customer matters.
• Perform Personal Banker duties as necessary.
• Establish and enhance the bank's presence in the local community by participating in networking events and outbound calling to drive branch sales.
