Bowman is actively seeking a dynamic and results-driven Branch Manager to lead our Fort Lauderdale office. This is a high-impact leadership role with responsibility for driving strategic growth, overseeing daily operations, and cultivating client relationships in the AEC (Architecture, Engineering, and Construction) industry. Key Responsibilities:
Leadership & Strategy
Provide direct supervision of staff, including hiring, training, performance management, and development.
Set and execute near- and long-term strategic goals to drive branch performance and growth.
Foster a culture aligned with Bowman’s values, ensuring team engagement and professional development.
Operations & Financial Oversight
Manage all financial aspects of the branch including budgeting, P&L accountability, and ROI analysis.
Oversee project execution, billing, accounts receivable, and resource planning.
Utilize data-driven insights to evaluate operational performance and guide decision-making.
Business Development & Client Engagement
Serve as a key representative of Bowman’s capabilities across sectors including land development, government, energy, and more.
Market the firm’s services to develop new clients and strengthen existing relationships.
Establish trusted partnerships with clients, consultants, vendors, and stakeholders.
Project Oversight
Ensure timely and quality delivery of design and planning projects in residential, commercial, municipal, and industrial sectors.
Support cross-office collaboration and leverage company-wide expertise to expand service offerings.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Surveying, Planning, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
10+ years of experience in the AEC industry, with 3+ years in a management role.
Registered Professional (PE, AICP, RLA, etc.) preferred.
Proven success in land development, municipal, transportation, or environmental projects.
Strong understanding of local codes, regulatory frameworks, and agency relationships in South Florida.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and video conferencing tools.
Valid state driver’s license; must pass a motor vehicle check.
