Job Description

The Branch Manager at Regions is responsible for leading an engaged, operationally sound, and high-performing team aimed at enhancing the financial wellness of our customers. This role involves acting as a leader and coach, overseeing branch operations, managing associate performance, and guiding the team to meet customer needs and financial goals. The manager must drive branch performance through sales, service, and operational efficiency, ensuring compliance and quality standards are met.

Primary Responsibilities
  1. Lead a team of branch associates to contribute to revenue growth by identifying customer needs and offering appropriate solutions.
  2. Conduct outside sales to generate new business and maintain existing banking relationships.
  3. Educate staff, customers, and the community on financial wellness and digital banking solutions.
  4. Coach and develop associates through the iConnect process, with support from mentors and senior management.
  5. Provide coaching to enhance product knowledge and customer service skills.
  6. Advise customers on Regions’ products and services, including loans, deposits, annuities, and insurance.
  7. Ensure a consistent, high-quality customer experience, including transactional needs.
  8. Resolve escalated issues and counsel staff as needed in partnership with leadership and HR.
  9. Manage recruitment and hiring for the branch.
  10. Maintain relationships with internal partners and refer customers for complex financial needs.
  11. Adhere to all policies, laws, and operational risk management duties.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Two years of financial services, sales, or sales management experience
  • Expected to obtain an active Life Insurance License within 12 months and maintain continuing education
  • Ability to work on Saturdays as needed
Preferences
  • College degree
  • Life Insurance License
  • Supervisory experience in financial services
  • Five years of banking or lending experience
  • Five years of client consultation experience

This role is full-time, exempt from overtime, and incentive-eligible. It requires registration with NMLS. Compensation ranges from approximately $51,104 to $67,338, with potential incentives based on performance.
