Job summary

Summit Credit Union in Beaver Dam, WI, seeks a Branch Manager to lead a high-performing team and strengthen member relationships. You will oversee daily operations, drive sales and service, and represent the credit union at community events.

The role emphasizes purposeful leadership, community impact, and operational excellence. The ideal candidate has an Associate degree or equivalent experience, 3+ years in retail or financial services with management, and the ability to obtain an NMLS number.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent relevant professional experience.
• 3+ years in retail or financial services, including at least 1 year of management experience.
• Ability to obtain and maintain an NMLS number.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a professional presence.
• Solid understanding of financial principles, branch operations, and common financial products and services.
• Proven ability to lead individuals and teams toward high performance and organizational goals.
• Sound judgment and adaptability in solving day-to-day challenges.
• Active listening skills and a thoughtful approach to resolving complex situations.
• Ability to build rapport, communicate proactively, and foster strong member relationships.
• High attention to detail, accuracy, and accountability in follow-up and follow-through.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
• Basic math proficiency and the ability to understand more complex financial concepts.

• Physical Demands of Position: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is continuously required to stand, walk and sit, and use hands and fingers. The employee occasionally must reach above and below shoulder level, and lift/push/pull and/or carry up to 40 pounds.
• Environmental/Working Conditions: Works in a typical administrative setting with climate control and appropriate lighting. Saturday hours required.
