Job summary

  • High School Diploma or GED required; higher degree preferred.
  • Minimum five years in sales/distribution of gases, welding supplies, or similar industrial products.
  • Two years of prior management/leadership experience.
  • Strong customer service and leadership skills.
  • Leadership: set standards, delegate, monitor progress and coach staff.
  • Ability to work independently and under pressure to meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

Additionally, the Branch Manager oversees the day to day activities for a segment within the industrial, specialty and medical distribution and gas filling operations of a production location. * Directly manages the day to day branch retail operations including safety, retail sales, warehousing and distribution. Leads and manages a team consisting of Counter Sales, Warehouse, Drivers and Customer Service employees.* Studies production schedules and estimates worker-hour requirements for completion of job assignments. Maintains time and production records.* Interprets company policies to workers and enforces safety regulations.* Implements measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, quality of product, and changes working conditions and use of equipment to increase efficiency of work crew. Initiates or suggests plans to motivate workers to achieve work goals.* Manages branch inventory, daily hard goods inventory cycle counts and maintain showroom and warehouse appearance.* Manages all hard goods receiving and all dynamic deployment (hard goods inter-branch orders) for completion timely and daily.* Leads and manages the annual/bi-annual physical hard goods inventories.* Other duties may be assigned. ## \\_\\_\\_\\_\\_\\_\\_\\_\\_\\_\\_\\_\\_\\_\\_\\_\\_\\_\\_\\_\\_\\_\\_\\_## ## Are you a MATCH?**Required Qualifications:*** High School Diploma or GED.
