Job summary

Bedrosians is seeking a Branch Manager in California to lead operations, sales and customer service at the branch level. The role emphasizes managing staff, meeting monthly budgets, and ensuring accurate inventory, billing, and adherence to company campaigns.

You will drive quarterly product launches, price updates, and staff training to maximize sales and customer satisfaction. Flexibility with weekends and a strong leadership focus are essential.

Qualifications

  • Five (5) years of prior large retail branch management experience.

  • Bi‑lingual in Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Manage all aspects of the branch's operations, sales and customer service
  • Ensure your branch meets budget, sales and profit plans every month
  • Ensure branch operational procedures are strictly followed making sure your branch is run smoothly, has accurate inventory, and correct billing and invoicing procedures for samples and product purchases
  • Ensure every branch complies with corporate‑directed marketing and sales campaigns
  • Promote and plan successful, polished, fun and well‑attended product launch parties on a quarterly basis
  • Ensure all quarterly product launch marketing collateral is immediately delivered and set‑up in accounts and drive sales in these new product collections
  • Actively push sales in discontinued products by ensuring new pricing is posted and announced in every branch location, customers are notified, all staff are trained, and product is well‑displayed to promote sales
  • Help resolve client issues immediately with best possible solutions, following corporate procedure
  • Maintain and increase professional and technical knowledge by reviewing product literature, manuals, and manufacturer bulletins, as well as attending vendor/ manufacturer seminars whenever available
  • Establish quarterly goals with all branch staff and review regularly ensure goals are met
  • Hire and develop a team that works cohesively with the customer as the primary focus
  • Implement all company directives and procedures
  • Enforce all company policies and consult with HR when necessary
  • Manage time efficiently and delegate tasks as appropriate
  • Attend and actively listen to the company‑wide weekly Monday Morning Meeting sales webinar to stay informed on new products, procedures, and company‑wide initiatives. If unable to attend, listen to the recorded webinar on Bedro University (posted in the “Bedrosians Library” folder every Monday following the webinar).
  • Conduct weekly branch meetings to educate employees on new products, procedures, strategies, and general company news following the company‑wide weekly Monday morning sales webinar.
  • Coordinate vendor product knowledge sessions for all staff members and ensure staff retain the knowledge through regular quizzing and mock customer interactions
  • Conduct monthly safety meetings and inspections with all appropriate staff members
  • Manage all branch expenses and report to accounting
  • Prepare, coordinate, and assist with physical inventories
  • Promote Bedrosians products and services everywhere you go
  • Work with your branch's outside sales representative(s) to increase the company's client base and market share
  • Grow existing client relationships and develop new relationships
  • Create a structured employee work schedule, effectively manage overtime, and submit sick and vacation time for employees as needed
  • Coach sales staff to help meet individual and branch sales goals
  • Travel and participate in industry tradeshows and/or company meetings and events when necessary
  • Work within the framework of the company's defined rules, procedures, goals and directives.

Job Overview

The Branch Manager is responsible for the branch's success. Branch staff report directly to the Branch Manager and it is the Branch Manager's responsibility to ensure all staff are well‑trained and knowledgeable about our products, procedures, and customer service policies. It is the Branch Manager's responsibility to motivate, coach and inspire staff to achieve new levels of success and be customer‑centric in their attitude and actions. The Branch Manager is responsible for ensuring warehouse, customer service, and sales departments are in compliance with all company policies, directives, and procedures. The Branch Manager's goal is to consistently grow sales and profit by following all operational procedures, seeking new clientele, and growing existing accounts.

Duties
