Killbuck Savings Bank is seeking a community-minded Branch Manager for the Walnut Creek, Ohio location to lead the local banking team and manage daily operations.

You will mentor staff, promote banking services, and build lasting relationships with customers and local businesses to meet financial goals. The role emphasizes policy compliance and excellent service in a close-knit community.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent with 6 months to 1 year related experience.
• Advanced knowledge of deposit, loan accounts, compliance, security, and accounting.
• Some banking experience with supervisory/leadership exposure.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support branch staff to provide friendly, reliable service.
• Manage day-to-day branch operations including cash handling and opening/closing.
• Develop relationships with local businesses and community members.
• Promote banking services and solutions to customers.
• Ensure adherence to banking policies and regulations.
• Resolve issues with a customer-first approach.
• Serve as Notary Public for the Branch Office.
• Attend monthly Branch Manager Meetings.

About the Role

Killbuck Savings Bank is looking for a community-minded full time Branch Manager to lead our local banking team at our Walnut Creek, Ohio location. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys building relationships, supporting a close-knit staff, and helping neighbors meet their financial goals. As a Branch Manager, you will be responsible for managing the retail operations at the branch office according to Bank policy and developing new business. The Branch Manager will lead daily operations, mentor employees, and create an environment where the branch runs efficiently and customers are well served.

We were founded in the Village of Killbuck in 1900. Over the years, we've added offices, expanded facilities and always looked for new ways to serve our valued customers. We have 12 full-service branches - in Killbuck, Berlin, Mt. Hope, Millersburg, Sugarcreek, Fredericksburg, Danville, Kidron, Wooster and Apple Valley - and proudly serve Holmes, Knox, Wayne and Tuscarawas counties.

What You’ll Do

• Lead and support branch employees in providing friendly, reliable customer service.
• Manage day-to-day branch operations, from opening/closing to cash handling.
• Work with local businesses and community members to build lasting relationships.
• Promote our banking services and help customers find the right financial solutions.
• Ensure the branch follows banking policies and regulations.
• Solve problems with a customer-first approach.
• Serve as Notary Public for Branch Office
• Attend monthly Branch Manager Meeting

What We’re Looking For

• Associate’s degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school plus six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Advanced overall knowledge of deposit accounts, loan accounts, compliance policy, security policy and accounting. Previous banking experience, with some time in a supervisor or leadership role.
• Strong Leadership - Ability to manage, motivate, and develop a high-performing team.
• Banking & Financial Knowledge - Solid understanding of banking products, services, and financial principles.
• Customer Focus - Dedicated to delivering excellent client service and building lasting relationships.
• Business Growth Mindset - Skilled in driving sales, meeting branch goals, and supporting community growth.
