Ruppert Landscape is seeking a Branch Manager to lead our Jacksonville, FL operations. You will oversee sales, estimating, production, customer satisfaction, safety, and profitability, guiding a hands-on team to deliver strong financial results.

The ideal candidate has a proven track record managing teams with P&L responsibility, excels at communication, and can travel occasionally to Laytonsville HQ.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of leadership experience with profit & loss responsibility (landscape industry a plus).
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel; experience with business management software preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Landscape Management, or related field preferred (not required).
• Willingness to travel occasionally (~5%) to the company HQ in Laytonsville, MD.

Responsibilities

• Lead branch operations, including sales, estimating, production, and customer satisfaction.
• Ensure safety, employee development, and profitability of the Jacksonville branch.
• Build relationships, coach staff, and address performance issues proactively.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a Branch Manager to lead our operations in Jacksonville, FL. This role is responsible for the overall performance and success of the branch—including sales, estimating, production, customer satisfaction, safety, employee development, and profitability. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment, with a proven track record of managing teams and delivering strong financial results.

Responsibilities:

• Build strong, trusting relationships with direct reports and team members
• Conduct regular one-on-one meetings to coach, support, and develop staff
• Provide consistent feedback and address performance or operational issues proactively
• Identify and implement solutions to customer and employee concerns
• Negotiate vendor and customer agreements that are both profitable and fair
• Effectively communicate company mission, values, and performance expectations
• Share operational and financial performance data with the team on a regular basis
• Recruit, train, and support a high-performing management team
• Identify and grow internal talent to build future leadership within the branch
