Job summary

Citi in San Diego is seeking a Head Universal Banker for a on-site, full-time leadership role. You will lead the branch team, coach Universal Bankers and Tellers, and ensure exceptional client experiences while handling a mix of service transactions and sales opportunities.

You will champion risk and control, guide complex transactions, promote digital channels, and coordinate with partners to meet client needs. Strong leadership and sales-oriented communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience with face-to-face customer service, digital engagement and basic sales/referrals.
• Open, client service orientation and desire to help customers is required.
• Sales experience desired with excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and support Universal Bankers and Tellers by modeling excellent service behaviors and mentoring on sales, service, and compliance routines.
• Guide both clients and team members in the branch, providing support in complex transactions and ensuring an exceptional client experience.
• Champion risk and control by monitoring day-to-day operations, ensuring compliance with policies, supporting the Branch Manager.
• Educate clients on digital capabilities and connect them to appropriate partners as needed.
