Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s or bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Three to five years of banking experience preferred, including consumer lending.
• Previous supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
• Knowledge of retail banking products, branch operations, and consumer lending practices.
• Strong leadership, communication, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with banking software and Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Provide coaching and support to branch employees with a focus on exceptional customer service and relationship development.
• Support recruiting, onboarding, training, scheduling, and branch coverage.
• Promote teamwork, accountability, professionalism, and Bank values.
• Maintain general management oversight of the branch and delegate routine duties.
• Monitor performance, address concerns, and implement improvements.
• Interview applicants, evaluate requests, and originate consumer loans.
• Make lending decisions within authority and submit other requests for approval.
• Maintain loan documentation per policy and regulations.
• Monitor loan relationships and support collection efforts when necessary.
• Build strong customer relationships by understanding financial needs and recommending products.
