Brooks Family YMCA seeks an Executive Director to empower people, strengthen communities, and create opportunity in Jacksonville. You will lead a growing, wellness-focused branch and nurture partnerships with Brooks Rehabilitation and the Urban Court community hub.

The role requires 8+ years of nonprofit leadership, a track record in fundraising and program growth, and strong financial and operational management.

Qualifications

• 8+ years leadership experience in a nonprofit setting with multiple departments.
• Demonstrated success in securing philanthropic support and leading annual campaigns.
• Strong financial management, budgeting, and strategic planning capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic and operational leadership for all branch operations to meet mission and goals.
• Cultivate partnerships with community leaders, businesses, government agencies, and partner organizations.
• Lead annual fundraising efforts, donor engagement, and philanthropy goals.
• Recruit, develop, and support a high-performing volunteer board and committees.
• Supervise staff and volunteers, fostering an inclusive, growth-oriented culture.
• Oversee facilities operations, risk management, safety, and compliance with YMCA policies.
