Job summary

Platt Electric Supply in Fairfield, CA, is hiring a Branch Driver I to deliver products to customers and branch locations in a delivery van or box truck. This role requires adherence to DOT regulations and accurate documentation at delivery.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Must pass pre-employment and annual MVR checks.
• Must obtain medical certificate per law within 60 days.

Responsibilities

• Deliver products to customers and branch locations by van or box truck.
• Inspect vehicle and complete daily inspection report.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and service needs, report repairs.
• Follow DOT and local driving laws and regulations.
• Load/unload materials and verify order accuracy and condition.
• Prepare orders for delivery as needed.
• Record delivery receipts, packing lists, and manifests.
• Return material from customers and inspect condition and quantities.
• May assist with counter sales and stocking or shipping tasks.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
