Job summary

Rexel USA is seeking a Branch Driver to join the Platt team in Bend, Oregon. The role involves delivering products to customers and branch locations using a delivery van or box truck (no CDL required). You will ensure orders are accurate, documented, and shipped on time while maintaining the vehicle and complying with DOT regulations.

The position emphasizes safety, customer service, and ability to train new drivers, with opportunities to assist in branch operations as needed.

Qualifications

• Must attend company driver training if experience lacking.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must pass a pre-employment and annual MVR review.
• Must obtain verification of non-expired medical certificate as required by law within 60 days of hire.
• Must not have had a suspended driver's license for a traffic accident/violation within the past 3 years.
• Must not have any at fault accidents in the past 3 years.

Responsibilities

• Inspect vehicle and complete daily inspection report.
• Keep vehicle clean, serviced, and maintained; report needed repairs.
• Follow DOT, local and state driving laws and regulations.
• Load/unload material and verify accuracy and condition.
• Assist in preparing orders for delivery.
• Complete delivery documentation (receipts, packing lists, manifests).
• Pick up material returns and verify condition and quantities.
• Pick up material from suppliers.
• Mentor entry level drivers and provide training.
• May perform other duties at the branch (counter sales, packing, stocking).
• Perform other duties as assigned
