Job summary

Rexel USA is seeking a Branch Driver to join the PLATT team in Fairfield, CA. You will deliver products to customers and branch locations, ensuring orders are accurate, undamaged, and documented properly.

Responsibilities include inspecting and maintaining the vehicle, loading/unloading, and adhering to DOT and traffic laws. The role may involve assisting in order preparation and other branch duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Must attend driver training in lieu of experience
• Must have a valid driver's license
• Must be at least 21 years old
• Must pass a pre-employment and annual MVR review
• Must obtain medical certificate as required within 60 days of hire
• Must not have had a suspended license for a traffic incident in past 3 years
• Must not have any at-fault accidents in past 3 years

Responsibilities

• Inspect vehicle and complete daily inspection report
• Keep vehicle clean, serviced and maintained; report repairs
• Follow DOT and local/state driving laws and regulations
• Load/unload material and verify quantity/type are correct and undamaged
• May assist in preparing orders for delivery
• Complete delivery documentation; obtain customer signature and packing list
• Pickup material returns and verify condition, quantities, catalog numbers
• Pickup material from suppliers
• May perform other branch duties (sales, orders, stocking, shipping) as needed
• Perform other duties as assigned
