The position of Branch Delivery Driver will be based in Augusta, GA.

Summary
The Truck Driver I is responsible for delivering products to/from customers, branch/warehouse locations, and suppliers in a delivery van or box truck (No CDL required). Ensures deliveries meet customer requirements efficiently, and materials are correct and undamaged.

What You'll Do

• Inspect company vehicle daily for defects; complete inspection reports
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness, service, and repairs; notify supervisor of issues
• Follow DOT, local, and state driving laws and regulations
• Load/unload vehicle; verify order accuracy and damage-free condition before departure
• Assist in preparing orders for delivery if needed
• Complete delivery documentation thoroughly, including customer signatures, packing lists, and manifests
• Handle material returns and verify conditions and quantities
• Pickup materials from suppliers
• Support warehouse duties like preparing, receiving, and stocking orders as needed
• Perform other duties as assigned

What You'll Need

• Attend company driver training if no experience
• Valid driver’s license
• At least 21 years old
• Pass pre-employment and annual Motor Vehicle Record reviews
• Verify non-expired medical certificate within 60 days of hire
• No suspended licenses for violations in past 3 years
• No at-fault accidents in past 3 years

• Handle loads up to 26,000 GVW
• Basic problem-solving skills

Working Conditions and Physical Demands
The physical and environmental requirements include occasional exposure to unpleasant environments, electrical hazards, and the need to handle heavy weights up to 75 pounds. Physical activities include sitting, walking, using hands, crouching, climbing, and communicating effectively.
