Job summary

Alten Technology USA is seeking a Brake Validation Engineer to join our engineering team. You will plan, execute, and validate brake system tests, and contribute to the development of brake, traction, and stability control functions.

A major portion (about 75%) involves specialized driving evaluations, including challenging ice conditions. The ideal candidate is proactive, adaptable, and able to manage complex testing programs while ensuring safety and certification requirements are met.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with DVP-R and certification testing using data acquisition systems.
• Proven ability to set up test equipment, run vehicle tests and process post-test data.

Responsibilities

• Plan, execute and validate brake system tests using advanced data acquisition systems.
• Perform driving evaluations, including ride, steering, handling, and limit handling (75%) in challenging conditions (ice).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure safety, performance and certification standards.
