Cadrex is seeking an experienced Brake Press Setup professional in Dresser, WI. The role focuses on setting up and operating Amada brake presses to meet blueprints and work orders, ensuring quality parts through precise measurements.

You will install tooling, adjust controls, and troubleshoot while collaborating with a team to optimize production. A strong safety mindset is essential for this hands-on manufacturing position.

Job description

Are you an experienced Brake Press Setup looking for a new opportunity with a leading manufacturing company? Position: Brake Press Setup

Location: Dresser, WI

Wage: $22.50 - $24.00 an hour depending on experience and shift

Shifts available:

• 2nd Shift: Monday - Thursday, 4:15 PM - 2:45 AM

Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate brake presses to bend metal according to specifications.
• Read and interpret blueprints, bend maps, and work orders to determine material requirements and machine settings.
• Select and install appropriate tooling (tool and die) for each job.
• Perform quality checks using precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, height gauges) to ensure parts meet tolerance requirements.
• Adjust machine controls and settings to maintain proper operation and part quality.
• Troubleshoot and resolve basic issues.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to optimize production and efficiency.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies.

• Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints.
• Understanding of various metal types and their properties.

Summer Sign-On Bonus: Effective June 1st, 2026

Effective for any Express Employment Associate who starts at the Cadrex Dresser, WI or Osceola, WI locations between June 1, 2026 and August 31, 2026.

• $500 per Express Employment Associate
• Paid after 60 days of continuous employment
• Cannot receive any documented performance, attendance (tardies, unexcused absences), or safety/quality concerns during the eligibility period
• Associate must be actively working at the Cadrex Dresser, WI or Osceola, WI locations on the payout date to receive the bonus
