Job summary

First Rate Staffing, Inc. is seeking a Brake Press Operator to set up, program, and operate Salvagnini B3 press brakes to bend sheet metal. You will interpret blueprints, manage CNC software, perform quality checks, and ensure safe operation of the machine.

Responsibilities include loading and adjusting parameters, inspecting parts with precision tools, and maintaining safety standards. This shift is first shift, 5:00 AM to 1:30 PM, with occasional Saturday overtime.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of verifiable experience required.
• Ability to safely operate heavy industrial machinery.
• Measurement test required for consideration.
• First shift M-F 5 AM–1:30 PM; occasional Saturday OT.

Responsibilities

• Load, program, and operate Salvagnini systems (B3 press brake) using onboard CNC software.
• Adjust machine parameters for material type and thickness.
• Interpret engineering drawings and specs to meet tolerances.
• Use precision measuring instruments to verify dimensions and inspect for defects.
• Adhere to safety protocols and perform routine machine maintenance.
• Move, load, rotate, and stack sheet metal and finished parts.
• Capable of standing 8 hours and working on feet.
• Meet daily production goals as directed by supervisor.
