Job summary

Wasserstrom is seeking a Brake Press Operator to set up and run shop machinery such as saws, CNC routers, and edge banders to fabricate metal or wood parts. You will read specifications, follow drawings and build documents, and maintain a clean workspace to ensure quality.

Requirements include a High School diploma or GED and 1–3 months of related experience. Strong reading of measurement tools and safety mindset are essential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 1–3 months related experience and/or training.
• Ability to read a tape measure to 1/16 inch.
• Ability to read basic drawings and build documents.

Responsibilities

• Operate shop machinery to fabricate parts and products.
• Load/unload materials onto machines.
• Complete basic maintenance and upkeep on machines.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace/shop.
• Check work through measuring tools and quality control procedures.
• Work with build documents and basic drawings.
