Job summary

Technical Metal Specialties Inc. in New Berlin, WI seeks a Brake Press Operator for 1st shift to set up, adjust and operate brake presses for forming, bending and punching tasks.

You will work from drawings and templates to produce parts that meet specifications, with first-piece checks and final inspection. Minimum requirement includes a high school diploma or GED; 1–3 months of related experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• Experience with brake presses and related tooling preferred.
• Ability to read drawings and follow specifications.

Responsibilities

• Set up punches, dies and gauges to form materials to correct radii and angles.
• Determine sequence of passes to achieve bends on complex sections.
• Operate brake press to perform forming, bending and punching tasks.
• Inspect formed parts and verify part numbers against drawings.
• Work from drawings, templates and specifications; use measuring tools.
