Job summary

TOPS Staffing is seeking a Brake Press Operator for the afternoon shift in Glenshaw, PA. You will operate brake presses and related machinery, interpret drawings, and ensure parts meet tight tolerances while maintaining safety standards.

The role requires the ability to work 3pm–1:30am, with optional overtime, and the stamina to stand for long periods. Prior manufacturing experience and basic math skills are preferred.

Qualifications

Brake Press Operator (Afternoon)

Position: Brake Press Operator

Shift: 3pm-1:30am

Days: Sunday-Wednesday or Wednesday-Saturday

Pay Rate: $20

Location: Glenshaw, PA

Required Skills

• Proven experience reading technical drawings and selecting appropriate tooling
• Ability to produce parts within tight tolerances for assembly
• Experience operating brake presses, CNC machines, or other heavy machinery
• Strong safety awareness and adherence to safety protocols
• Ability to use both hands to control equipment and handle materials
• Basic reading, writing, and math skills
• Competency in basic computer navigation and data entry
• Ability to stand for at least 8 hours daily and lift up to 50 pounds
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed

Nice to Have Skills

• Programming experience with CNC or hydraulic brake presses
• Experience performing spot inspections and quality checks
• Familiarity with adjusting equipment to optimize production flow

Preferred Education and Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Prior experience in manufacturing or metal forming role

• Ability to work two shifts: Sunday - Wednesday or Wednesday - Saturday, from 5am to 3:30pm
