Job Summary:

Schaefer's Electrical Enclosures is seeking a self-motivated individual for 3rd shift to bend and sort materials for production needs.

Duties/Responsibilities:

1. Operate standard industry tools and machinery.
2. Understand tooling and tooling requirements.
3. Know material types and gauge thickness.
4. Prepare products for the next production step by inspecting for defects and cosmetic issues.
5. Report defective materials or quality concerns.
6. Perform all duties within quality standards.
7. Maintain a clean and organized work area and equipment.
8. Follow all safety procedures.
9. Perform additional duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Operate equipment with computer and technical skills.
• Knowledge of CNC programming.
• Follow SOPs and Work Instructions.
• Perform basic math, including decimal to fraction conversions.
• Set up machines as required.
• Follow directions and work efficiently in a team environment.
• Read a tape measure.
• Be detail-oriented and thorough.
• Be self-motivated.
• Accurately complete required paperwork.

Education and Experience:

High school diploma or equivalent required. Experience with CNC or precision machinery is preferred.

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged standing.
• Ability to lift, bend, stoop, climb, reach, and lift up to 50 pounds.
