South Western Communications, Inc. is seeking a dependable Brake Press Operator (Class B) for the 2nd shift in Strafford, MO. You will operate brake press equipment, read blueprints, load materials, inspect parts, and maintain quality while collaborating with the team.

Training is provided to learn blueprint reading and technical drawings. The role offers a path for growth in metal fabrication within a stable manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred but not required.
• Manufacturing or brake press experience is a plus.
• Basic mechanical aptitude preferred.
• Ability to learn blueprint reading and technical drawings (training provided).
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Basic math and measurement skills preferred.
• Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems.
• Dependable attendance and strong work ethic required.

Responsibilities

• Operate brake press machines to bend, form, and shape metal parts.
• Read and follow blueprints, work orders, and production instructions.
• Load and unload materials while ensuring proper alignment and positioning.
• Inspect finished parts to verify quality and specifications.
• Make machine adjustments as needed to maintain product quality.
• Perform routine machine maintenance and cleaning.
• Record production information accurately.
• Follow all safety procedures and use required PPE.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals.
